The wedding was celebrated at the Presbyterian Church, Oatlands, yester- day of Ann Chung Gon, of Launceston, fifth daughter of Mr James Chung Gon and the late Mrs Chung Gon and Sydney Fong, of Geraldton (WA), son of the late Mr and Mrs Fong King Mee, of Hong Kong, China. Mr Chung Gon gave his daughter away.
The Rev J. Henderson who performed the ceremony was a close friend of the bridegroom in West Australia for many years. The bride wore a water lily blue frock of flowered silk be- neath a navy coat. Her sister Miss Dorothy Chung Gon, who attended her, wore a navy jacket suit embroidered in blue. Mr Edward Chung Gon, brother of the bride, was best man.
Mr and Mrs Henderson were host and hostess at an informal tea for the wedding party at the Manse A surprise wedding breakfast was given at Wrest Pt. Riviera Hotel. Hobart, last night by Mr and Mrs E. Chung Gon. Among the guests were tne Premier (Mr Cosgrove) and Mrs Cosgrove.
The honeymoon will be spent on the Mainland. The future home of Mr and Mrs Fong will be at Geraldton,
(WA).
