Testimonial to Mr. Fong Láng

The following has been addressed to us from Geraldton, .We don't know why : 'TESTIMONIAL' TO Mr FONG LANG,

you are doubtless aware,- Mr Fong Lang will leave early in May on a visit to China, and may, not again return to Geraldton.

''Regarding this as fitting occasion for showing our esteem for that gentleman, we would respectfully ask you to co-operate in providing a worthy testimonial for him. We do this with confidence because, during his long sojourn here, not only has he proved himself a worthy mem- ber of the Church, which is moving in the matter, but as a citizen;and as a merchant we believe that he has won the confidence and esteem of every townsman. -

''Mr. Murdoch '{treasurer)' .will "gladly acknowledge any donations towards this worthy object. -

"We are in, the name of St. 'John's Church, Douglas B. Smith, minister - John MacDonald, secretary." Sunday 15 April 1906 Sunday Times (Perth, WA
